Studio s traverse city mi. I should have known when my computer didn't register the device there was a problem. After running the software I got 'the program failed to initialize' No biggie, I figured I would uninstall then reinstall.

As a final resort, I tried to install it on my son's XP machine, same problem. Now I'm cheated out of my money because I didn't install it right away, missing the 30 day replacement/return deadline with Newegg, AND I'm cheated out of transferring the only piece of footage of my deceased father from VHS to DVD!
